About Me
Helping Students Build Confidence, Conquer Math, and Even Have a Little Fun
I grew up in a family that valued education, and I’ve carried that forward with three core beliefs:

Learning—yes, even math—can be fun.
I earned my accounting degree from Arizona State and started my career at a global accounting firm. But I knew my heart wasn’t in it. I kept thinking about kids—their potential, their struggles—and eventually I listened. I returned to school, earned my teaching credential and master’s at Azusa Pacific, and never looked back.
I’ve been teaching and tutoring for 15 years now. What lights me up most is one-on-one instruction. I especially love working with students who are behind or anxious about math, because I’ve been there. I know what it feels like to panic at the sight of a math problem—and I know the freedom that comes from pushing past that fear.
Today I specialize in online tutoring for math (Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Geometry, and Precalculus). I use clear, proven methods that help students feel safe, supported, and even laugh a little along the way. When students stop fearing math, their confidence often spills over into every part of life.
